FEES
Financial Planning Fees
Financial planning fees are determined on a project basis and depend on the complexity of your personal and financial situation. Some key considerations include; your goals, family situation, income, assets, and debt. AFP provides a complete estimate of the financial planning fees at the conclusion of the initial complimentary consultation.
AFP ensures the costs of your services are as transparent and free from conflicts of interest as possible. AFP uses a fixed or flat fee model instead of charging by the hour. Once the scope and cost of your project is agreed upon, the firm alone shoulders the responsibility of completing your project in a timely and cost effective manner. In addition, the firm is fee-only, making clients the sole source of AFP's compensation. AFP receives no compensation of any kind from third party firms and professionals that may support the execution of your financial plan. This applies, but is not limited to service providers such as insurance brokers, tax preparers, and estate attorneys.
- Fees for Comprehensive Financial Planning (multiple/interrelated planning topics) typically range from $750 to $3,000.
- Fees for Modular Financial Planning (one planning topic) typically range from $500 to $1,500.
